I don't know if there is anything else that forces you to not only be in the moment, but also fall in love with the moment, as much as photography. This has been a huge life lesson for me. And I think that is a pretty good why.

I'm kinda sort of a business book junkie. My collection is relatively big and my wish list is long. Now, just to find the time to actually get through all of them.
One that I did manage to get through was "Start With Why" by Simon Sinek. I read through it quite some time ago after seeing his presentation onTEDX.
Needless to say, this has really sat with me ever since. I think about Why often, when it comes to my work and everyday decisions. Afterall, we truly are what we spend our time on.
So where am I going with this? I guess I want you to know the why. I want to know the why. Maybe I want it to be as simple as sharing my love for photography and helping people understand it's not about numbers and clicking the shutter.
I'm going to keep this simple with an ongoing blog series. Posting about it when I think of a Why. It could be a couple of times a day...it could be once a month. Cause that's how I roll.
