GRADUATION . RILEA

Today we are going all the way back to 2016 and Rilea’s graduation session. I am not sure how I missed blogging this session earlier than now as it was one of my favourites!

Her session was held inside and outdoors at my studio, just outside of Red Deer. Between adding in a few casual outfits and her lacrosse equipment, the session was a perfect mix of everything. Oh, and the soft sunset summer light didn’t hurt either ;).

When your mom is a photographer, you get talked into not only one, but two sessions for graduation ;).

I typically don’t get to photograph many young men for their graduation, but always love creating something unique just for them! Usually their sessions are kept shorter in comparison to the girls sessions, but I always encourage them to bring along a few different outfits to still capture a variety of images.

And I promise, they always walk away thinking it was much more fun then they thought it would be!

Featured today is Hannah’s graduation session from 2018. A combination session of the studio here in Sylvan Lake, and outdoors at Jarvis Bay Provincial Park. All just 15 minutes outside of Red Deer.
